During Europe Day on 14 May 2023 at the heart of Ulaanbaatar city, the Sukhbaatar square, GIZ introduced its work related to professional skills, biodiversity conservation, sustainable forest management, energy efficiency, and SME’s in Mongolia.

Within this spectrum, environmental education and communication played an important role. Among the many exhibits and handouts presented and distributed among event visitors were QR-coded stickers and postcards that refer to the MGM website and the new MediaKit, the  radio drama and the revised visitor guide for protected areas as an animated video based on the radio characts. In addition, copies of printed materials such as comics of the visitor guide and on protected areas as a life support system or a manual on outdoor environmental education for youth were available for interested parties.

The annual Europe Day showcases the diversity of European culture presented through an exhibition.  This year, more than seventy booths featured the European Union, its member States, cultural institutes, international organizations, student organizations, and European companies.
