MGM Cooperation with ikon – Mongolia’s Biggest News Portal
Following up on a recommendation by Deutsche
Welle, the biggest news portal in Mongolia, IKON , asked MGM and the GIZ SPACES project to work with
them to raise awareness on environmental issues in the general public. Both
MGM and the project took up this opportunity.
The portal opened a new environment corner
as part of their web news. MGM partners prepare the environmental news or
articles for this corner, which are published once or twice per month. This
cooperation is free of charge for MGM as ikon is interested in quality content.
MGM partners are managing the content, photos, MGM logo and website link, etc. all
by themselves and thus have editorial freedom to manage the corner. A first
article was published in November 2024. By now, four more have been added.
