The events were specifically designed to let children and youth learn about the significance of forests through entertaining and educational games.

Over 250 children enthusiastically participated in a series of adventurous and interactive activities conducted within forest environments. The young participants not only deepened their fundamental understanding of forests but also gained valuable insights into the crucial role forests play in nature and in in specific ecosystems. For example, forests block wind, filter dust storms, and purify the air. They also stabilize soil movement and prevent soil erosion. There was a diversity of conifer and leaf tree species and non-timber forest products such as nuts and berries to be observed. Interestingly, mature pines have a thick, fire-resistant bark that can survive exposure to surface fires. But the young participants also learned that overgrazing due to livestock herds that exceed the carrying capacities of pasture lands can destroy forests.
